How are they constructed?
The huts combine a traditional look with the benefits of modern construction methods.  The main structure is an insulated timber frame which sits on a steel frame base with an insulated floor.  The hut is clad in steel corrugated profile sheets and the roof is also corrugated steel which is curved providing a gap above the top of the timber frame to help keep it cool and gives space for condensation to escape.  The corrugated sheets care available in a range of standard colours (greens and greys) The interior walls and ceiling of the hut are made with tongue and groove effect wood to maintain the traditional look and feel and can be painted in your choice of colour.

What are they suitable to be used for?
Holiday lets, garden rooms, offices, forest school classrooms, or ancillary accommodation.

What does the hut include?
The huts come with a hardwood stable door with window and a separate window in the end wall.  They are fully insulated and have a certified electric consumer board for a 240v mains supply.  The conduits, sockets and switches are galvanised and there are vintage style bulkhead light fittings to complement the traditional style of the hut.  There are two ceiling lights and one outside light.  In addition there is galvanised guttering and down pipes.  The hut is heated by an electric heater.

How can I customise it to meet my needs?
The following can all be incorporated as required:
Double bed with storage underneath
Kitchen units (can include small sink, fridge, cooker)
Breakfast bar 
Shelving
Decking
Solar panels
WC, basin & shower
Disabled access (ramp and low threshold door)
 
How easy are they to transport?
The huts are delivered from us to you on a lorry or flatbed trailer.  We have designed a removable transport wheel system (wheels and a tow bar) to manoeuvre them into position so bumpy tracks and narrow entrances are not an issue.  These can be purchased with the hut if you wish to keep them.  They can also be lifted by crane or telehandler.  

What sizes do they come in?
Standard hut is 4m x 2.1m 
Larger hut is 6m x 2.1m
Other sizes available on request.

What do I do about bathroom facilities?
There are different options depending on your set up and requirements:
You can source a separate compostable loo
Opt for the larger size hut to include a small bathroom with shower, basin and WC*
Have a separate hut as a dedicated washroom* (Especially suitable and economical if you are planning on more than one Drovers Hut as it would only require connecting one hut up.)

*Require access to mains water and drainage.

How much do they cost?
All our huts are built to order to your specific requirements and so we will supply you with a bespoke quote but as a general guide see below. 
Standard  basic hut - £18,000 + VAT
Standard hut with bed and kitchen units, breakfast bar, and decking - £22,000 + VAT
Larger hut with bathroom - £25,000 + VAT
Finance is available, ask for more information.
